The Digital Architecture of Perfect Vision

Eye health is an art where millimeter precision and cutting-edge technology converge. At Nokta Optik, we offer not only world-renowned frames but also the world's most advanced optical engineering solutions that make these frames unique to you. The digital measurement and cutting systems we use in our store are designed to perfect your perspective.

1. Rodenstock ImpressionIST 4+

It's not enough for your glasses to have the correct prescription; how the lens is positioned in front of your eye is key to your comfort. The Rodenstock ImpressionIST 4+ 3D video focusing system transforms the glasses selection into a digital experience.

  • 3D Parametric Measurement: When you stand in front of the device, high-resolution cameras analyze the distance between your pupils, the tilt of the frame on your face, and the distance of the lens from your eye in 3D.

  • Adaptation Ease: The adaptation process, especially experienced with progressive (multifocal) lenses, is almost completely eliminated thanks to the precise data provided by this device.

  • Aesthetic Harmony: These measurements, made according to the anatomical structure of your facial features, ensure that the lens is placed in the frame in the most aesthetic way.

2. Nidek ME-1500

The quality of a lens is measured by the perfection of its cut. The Nidek ME-1500 Multifunction Edger is a technology considered an "industry standard" in the optical world, capable of flawlessly processing even the most challenging lens designs.

  • 3D Cutting Technology: It processes the lens edges with a three-dimensional model to ensure a perfect fit into the frame's groove. This prevents the lens from falling out of the frame or loosening over time.

  • Hybrid Processing: It features a special polishing and grooving system that ensures a sleek appearance for lenses of all forms, from highly curved sports frames to very thin metal frames.

  • Zero Margin of Error: Thanks to computer-controlled diamond discs, even the slightest deviations that might occur with manual craftsmanship are prevented, ensuring the optical center of the lens remains exactly where it should be.

3. Nidek ICE-1500

The most critical stage before cutting begins is "blocking," which is determining the focal point. The Nidek ICE-1500 manages this process with a precision invisible to the human eye.

  • Automatic Mark Detection: It automatically scans invisible production marks on the lens and transfers them to the digital environment.

  • Lens Analysis: It detects even the slightest production flaw or dust particle on the lens, giving final approval before mounting.

  • Perfect Centering: By precisely matching the focus prescribed by your ophthalmologist to the exact millimeter on the lens, it thoroughly resolves issues like headaches and eye strain caused by incorrect focusing.

4. Essilor ALM 500

At Nokta Optik, quality control is not left to chance. The Essilor ALM 500 Automatic Lensmeter is the firewall in our laboratory.

  • Instant Data Verification: The diopter values (prescriptions), axis directions, and prismatic values of your lenses are measured in seconds.

  • UV Protection Analysis: It tests whether your spectacle lenses genuinely block harmful sunlight, confirming your safety.

  • Final Check: Every pair of glasses, once assembled, is not delivered to our customers without passing the ALM 500 test. This is our guarantee that every product you receive is flawless.

Why Do We Invest in These Technologies?

Because we know that even the best frame cannot bring you happiness with a wrongly focused or incorrectly cut lens. At Nokta Optik, we aim to provide a world-class optical experience in Istanbul by using the most modern devices globally. For us, every pair of glasses is a technological marvel custom-made for its owner.

Maximum Comfort with Personalized Focusing

Not only the prescription of your glasses but also the position of the lens's focal point relative to your pupil is vitally important. With the digital blocking process you see in the video, we determine the optical center on the lens with millimeter precision. This way, you achieve clear vision from the very first moment you put on your glasses, and you reduce problems such as headaches and eye strain caused by incorrect focusing to zero.
